The Private Address: ship anything anywhere without revealing where you live.

Type — System Innovation Status — Available for acquisition or development

The problem

Every online order hands your home address to another company. Retailers, marketplaces, sellers, marketing databases, and every data breach in between — your physical location, the single most sensitive piece of personal information, is scattered across hundreds of systems you don't control.

The consequences range from junk mail to identity theft to stalking. And there's a second, global problem: billions of people in countries without formal addressing systems can't reliably receive deliveries at all.

The insight

The only party that actually needs to know where you live is the carrier delivering the package. Everyone else just needs a way to route it.

Separate the two, and the privacy problem disappears.

The concept

Replace the home address with a unique encrypted address code:

  1. One code, zero exposure — Each person receives a unique encrypted code (for example, HX7-K2M9-QT4). This is what you give retailers, sellers, and websites — never your street address.
  2. Carrier-side decryption — Only authorized carriers can resolve the code to a physical location, at the moment of delivery routing. Retailers and individuals only ever see the code.
  3. Revocable and rotatable — Moved? Being harassed? Generate a new code. Your old code dies instantly — no data broker cleanup, no trail to your new home.
  4. Global extension — For regions without formal addresses, codes map to precise GPS coordinates, instantly giving billions of people a deliverable "address" for the first time.

The impact

Who this is for

National postal services, major carriers, e-commerce platforms, privacy-focused tech companies, and governments modernizing national addressing infrastructure.
